Weldon House

Weldon House is an supportive housing program that provides women and their children with their own fully furnished apartment, and training for them to learn life and professional skills necessary to improve their self-esteem, for them to become self-sufficient and independent, all for the benefit of themselves and their families. Weldon House specifically helps women who face barriers in leaving abusive relationships, sustaining recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism, obtaining adequate housing, and in finding jobs that provide a livable wage.

Look for their orange marked donation bins in your local supermarket parking lots.


One Small Step/Clothes Cabin

Clothes Cabin’s mission is to provide clothing relief to those who can not afford what they need. In the spring of 2011, Clothes Cabin began offering its homeless clients free laundry service.

In 2019, Clothes Cabin expanded their services to a new location that offers increased ability to serve more clients, increased storage for better inventory, and an in-house laundry facility for their Homeless Assistance Program. Two brand-new service features were added with the new building; a classroom that offers free classes focused on life skills and a shower that is available through their Homeless Assistance Program.

The mission of Dress for Success Phoenix is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Donation of work clothes is ideal for this organization.

Dress for Success provides each client with professional attire to secure employment, however they are about much more than simply a new outfit. In addition to equipping the client with apparel and accessories, their extensive job readiness and career training furnish her with a confidence that she carries forever with the knowledge that she can actively define her life, the direction she takes and what success means to her.
